A German and her bread
I grew up in rural Germany next door to the village bakery giving me my lasting childhood memory of waking to the sweet smell of baking dough. Every morning as I walked past the bakery the baker tossed me a fresh Brot to nibble as I walked to school. While these early bread were traditional and wholesome, I am focusing on bringing this tradition a generation forward with NO SUGAR and only the most wholesome vegan ingredients which I am sure my old baker would still approve of if one day I could toss him one…...
